My
Web Page - Biography
Greetings
viewers and welcome to this web page. Let me introduce
myself. I am Anthony Parnell Mauldin The Original
"HyReZ". I am formerly a visual arts teacher for the Cleveland
Metropolitan School District. I
also worked with my school district's Educational
Technology Office as Technology Liaison with the Ohio
School Net Project. I retired in 2011.
I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975 in fine art and in 1987 I was certified in Art Education K-12 at The Cleveland State University. I have also done graduate studies in Computer Uses In Education at The Cleveland State University and at the University Of Phoenix Online. I seriously became interested in computers when I attended The Control Data Institute in 1979. There I completed 750+ hours of computer technology & repair courses and received certification as a computer technician. After completing my training I worked as a technician for several local telecommunications companies: Sight & Sound Telecommunications, Business Telephone Systems, InterLine Communication Services, and U.S. West. I also owned and operated my computer/multimedia service business called Positronics Voice and Data Systems since 1985. I have been using computers to do graphics since I bought my first Commodore 64 in the mid 1980's. Back then my access to the Internet was through The Cleveland Freenet. The Freenet provided me with e-mail and access to special interest groups called "sig's".
Today I do my computing on a home built system:
